I Am Legand

Did one of your favorite books become a movie, or should it! Do you think you know the perfect actor for a character.....Or Do you simply know a really great movie to watch!!!

There were people who thought the scene with the dog was humorous, and for that I had to wonder if those people have ever had a dog.

As for the movie, I thought it was great, except for the end. I thought the end ruined it, in fact. Even the alternative ending didn't do it for me, though I thought it was a step up. I wish the developers had chosen to stick with the book's ending, which did a better job to make a point about how the monsters were, and how they viewed the human.

It happens all the time that the translation from book to movie cause the meaning to be lost in translation....Especially if the book itself is well written and truly develops the story.......Its just not always possible to show that visually.....And thats not even looking at the adaptation and actor choices

I have not read the book and truth be told I am not sure if I could after watching the dog scene.
